House of Solu, established in the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and handle it with care, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch law.

This privacy policy applies to all services provided by House of Solu, including our website, trainings and programmes, and other communications.

2. What personal data do we process?

2.1 Data you actively provide when registering for a training or masterclass
  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Company name and job title (if provided)
  • The content of messages you send via contact forms or email
  • Payment details (processed via a secure payment platform within Kajabi; not stored directly by us)
2.2 Data collected automatically via our website
  • IP address (anonymised where possible)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and click behaviour
  • Date and time of website visits
2.3 Data through participation in trainings and webinars
  • Login details for our online learning environment (Kajabi)
  • Registration and attendance data for webinars (WebinarGeek)
  • Attendance data for live sessions (Zoom), such as name and email address upon registration
  • Progress within the programme and access to workbooks and recordings
  • Any questions, feedback, or answers you share during or after a training

3. Why do we use your data?

We use your personal data only for the following, specific purposes:

Performance of a contract
  • Processing your registration for a training, masterclass, or programme
  • Providing access to the learning environment, workbooks, and recordings
  • Sending practical information and invitations directly related to a training you registered for (e.g. login and start details, reminders, schedule changes)
  • Invoicing and administration
Consent
  • Sending our newsletter with news, tips, and inspiration about AI and marketing — only if you have explicitly opted in
  • Placing non-functional cookies (see our cookie policy, where applicable)
Legitimate interest
  • Improving our website and services based on anonymised usage data
  • Maintaining business contact with (potential) clients who have shown interest
Legal obligation
  • Retaining financial records in accordance with Dutch tax law (statutory retention period of 7 years)

We do not use your data for any purpose other than those described above, and we do not process data that is not necessary for these purposes.

4. How long do we keep your data?

  • Client and training records (incl. invoices): 7 years after completion (statutory retention obligation)
  • Contact forms and email correspondence: 2 years after last contact
  • Newsletter subscribers: until unsubscription or withdrawal of consent
  • Webinar/Zoom attendance data: a maximum of [e.g. 12 months] after the session, unless longer retention is needed for access to recordings within the programme
  • Anonymised website analytics: a maximum of 14 months

5. Do we share your data with third parties?

House of Solu never sells your data to third parties. We currently share personal data only with the following parties, which are necessary for our service delivery:

  • Kajabi — for the online learning environment, access to workbooks/recordings, and (where applicable) payment processing
  • WebinarGeek — for registration and organisation of webinars and masterclasses
  • Zoom — for hosting live training sessions

Where required, we have a data processing agreement in place with these parties. We currently do not use any other tools to process personal data. Should we add new tools in the future, we will update this privacy policy accordingly.

Some of these parties may process data (partly) outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, we ensure that the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

6. How do we secure your data?

  • Use of secure (SSL/HTTPS) connections
  • Password protection and, where possible, two-factor authentication on the platforms used
  • Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular review of the tools and platforms used

7. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object
  • Right to withdraw consent

You can submit a request via [email protected]. We will respond within 4 weeks. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Newsletter and marketing communications

We only send news, tips, and inspiration about AI and marketing by email if you have explicitly given your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by sending a message to [email protected].

9. Data of minors

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

House of Solu reserves the right to amend this privacy policy, for example when adding new tools. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you proactively. The most recent version is always available on our website, with the version date at the top of this document.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

This privacy policy is governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this privacy policy will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your right as a data subject to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or to bring proceedings before a competent court under the GDPR.
